The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end FIBC manufacturing operations, including tape extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, cutting, stitching, finishing, packing, and dispatch. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, improving productivity, and leading shop-floor teams.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution

Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

Ensure timely execution of customer orders and delivery schedules.

Monitor production output, machine utilization, and capacity planning.

Coordinate with PPC, maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams.
Process Management

Oversee Tape Plant, Circular Looms, Lamination, Printing, Cutting, Stitching, and Finishing operations.

Ensure optimum machine efficiency and minimum downtime.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
Cost & Waste Control

Control raw material consumption and production costs.

Monitor BOM adherence and variance analysis.

Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives.

Improve OEE and productivity metrics.
Team Management

Lead production supervisors, shift in-charges, operators, and contract manpower.

Conduct workforce planning and shift scheduling.

Train employees on SOPs, safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Plastics, or Polymer Engineering, or a Diploma with relevant experience.

MBA/PG Diploma is an added advantage.
Experience

15+ years in FIBC, PP woven sacks, jumbo bags, or technical textile manufacturing.

Minimum 5 years in a managerial role handling large production teams.

Strong exposure to tape extrusion, looms, finishing, quality systems, and production planning.
